Registering at St. Mary's Transportation & School Boundaries Registration Fees

2016/2017 Registration took place on Tuesday, August 30 and Wednesday, August 31 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. (Please see below for more information and package details)

Students currently attending WCDSB elementary schools will register online using CareerCruising during January. Grade eight teachers will assist you through this process. WRDSB elementary students please request the necessary forms from your teacher or guidance counsellor.

Students currently attending another high school within Waterloo Region and wishing to transfer to St. Mary's should contact their guidance counsellor for a Principal to Principal Transfer request. Transfer for students living outside of the St. Mary's boundary will be considered only under very rare extenuating circumstances and must be approved by the principals of both schools.

Students who have moved into St. Mary's boundary from outside of Waterloo Region, please contact the guidance department at 519-745-6892 - extension 5632 - to arrange an appointment to register.

Students within our boundaries walk or are transported via school bus, taxi or subsidized public transportation offered through Grand River Transit. Transportation criteria is based on distance to school, as well as consideration of hazards within the walking area.

Transportation services are coordinated between both school boards.

  • $60.00 Student Activity Fee for a full year, which includes the student information handbook and yearbook or $20.00 Student Activity Fee for one semester without a yearbook or $40.00 Student Activity Fee for one semester with a yearbook
    The student activity fee goes to funding clubs, teams, assemblies, dances, graduation, guest speakers, concerts, orientation for grade 9, charitable donations and other student body activities.. The Student Activity fee is optional but must be paid in order to participate in the above co-curricular activities including athletics.
