How do I obtain a copy of my Transcript/Diploma?

Call the Guidance Deptartment at 745-6892 ext. 5519 or 5203
Allow for processing time. A small fee may be charged.

How would I go about getting a tutor for my son/daughter?

A

Call and speak to student’s guidance counselor.

How does my son/daughter obtain his/her community service (volunteer) hours?

A

Community Involvement Booklets available in the Guidance Deptartment outlining eligible & ineligible activities that may be used as community service hours. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain volunteer placements. Volunteer opportunities are published on our
Eagle Vision announcements or check the volunteer website www.volunteerkw.ca

Where does he/she submit the volunteer form?

Take signed copy with hours totaled to Guidance secretaries for entry.

Student must register with guidance counsellor.

8:00 – 3:30;
one credit only

Cameron Heights;
July 5 to 28,
8:30-11:30 and/or 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.
one or two credits

New Credit:

Bluevale High School
July 5 to 28,
8:30 – 3:00 p.m.
one credit only

How can I collect homework if my son/daughter is ill?

A -

Contact guidance counselor if student will be ill for more than 3 days.
Students are advised to contact teacher upon their return to get caught up on missed assignments.
Students are encouraged to access ClassNet from St. Mary’s website.

What does my son/daughter do if they want to attend an American University?

A -

Students are required to write the SAT’s.
