Hey Eagles!
Lunchtime drop-in help for course selections will continue today and all next week. Drop in to room 134 during your lunch, log in to a computer and get help from a guidance counsellor with any questions you might have. Course selections must be submitted and approved by parents by March 1st.
- Lots of information and links to guide your choices on the Academic Planning and Course Selection page on our website
- Considering co-op or a dual-credit program? Add the course to your plan and be sure to complete the co-op application form using the link in the course description.
- Considering a summer school course? Add “SUMMER” to your course selections in myBlueprint and be sure to complete the summer school registration form (link is in the “SUMMER” course description). Summer courses are online (eLearning) and count toward the two required eLearning courses.
- Considering an eLearning course? eLearning is online and asynchronous, so requires excellent independent work skills. You’ll have an open period in your schedule next year during which you can work on your eLearning course. Look under Online Learning in myBlueprint for available eLearning courses.
- Is eLearning not the best way for you to learn? Parents/guardians can complete an eLearning Opt-Out form (found on the Academic Planning and Course Selection page on our website). This removes the requirement to complete eLearning courses but doesn’t prevent you from choosing eLearning in the future.
- Interested in a Specialist High Skills Major in grade 11 & 12? Check out the SHSM Fact Sheet on our website and visit www.highskills.ca to sign up
- Already submitted your courses, but now would like to make a change? Drop in to room 134 at lunch and a guidance counsellor can re-allow submission so you can make changes and re-submit.
