House of Commons Page Program
Do you have plans to attend either the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Saint Paul University, Université du Québec en Outaouais, La Cité or Algonquin College?
If so, the opportunity below may be for you.
Each year, the House of Commons recruits 40 bilingual students graduating from high schools and CEGEPs from across Canada to participate in the House of Commons Page Program. Pages work directly on the floor of the House of Commons and are responsible for a wide range of tasks related to Chamber activities. This provides them with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Parliament by playing a role in the rich traditions of the Canadian parliamentary system .
The recruitment campaign for the 2023-2024 academic year is taking place from September 26 to November 6, 2022.
To be considered, candidates must:
- submit a curriculum vitae (maximum of two pages)
- submit a cover letter that includes detailed examples clearly demonstrating

In a booth-style event, you will get to speak one-on-one with admissions representatives from 6 states in the western United States, representing diverse higher education institutions including community colleges, research universities, liberal arts colleges, graduate institutes, and more! You will also be able to attend webinars on various admissions and academic topics. This event is open to all students and educators in Canada and is free to attend.
